Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority

APEDA is liable for the export promotion of Fresh Fruits & Vegetables, Processed Food products, Livestock products, and Cereals. It delivers the crucial interface between farmers, storehouses, packers, exporters, surface transport, ports, Railways, Airways, all others hired in export trade, and finally to the international market. Directly or indirectly, it delivers services that support farmers and exporters from other states in the country. It bridges the gap between agricultural and processed food producers to reach the exporters in international markets.

APEDA is mandated with the responsibility of export promotion and development of the following products:
Fruits, Vegetable and their products
Meat and meat products
Poultry and poultry products
Cocoa and its products
chocolates of all kinds Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Cereals and cereals products
Groundnuts, peanuts and walnut Pickles, chutneys and papads Guar Gum
Floriculture and floriculture products
